The Google Spreadsheet connector allows you to work with spreadsheets on Google Drive, a free, web-based service that allows users to create and edit spreadsheet documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. The connector uses the Google Spreadsheet API version v4 to connect to Google Drive and view, create, and update spreadsheets.

Integrating Google spreadsheets with customer relationship management (CRM), landing pages, and forms makes collaboration easy and helps automate business processes such as subscribers sync and marketing workflows.
The Google Spreadsheets connector provides instant API connectivity to the Google Spreadsheets API, allowing applications to access, create, and modify Google Spreadsheets using OAuth2 for authentication.

For example, let’s assume that a customer has to give the name and email to download a product from a company website and the company stores the customer’s data in a Google spreadsheet. The company can later use the Google Spreadsheet connector to read through the spreadsheet and pick the product name, email address, and the name of the customer. It can then use the Gmail connector to send a customized email to the customer.
